Nancy Cronin created the original sculpture for this fanciful wizard. The dress and cape are more period correct and a little different than the usual dress and cape.
This is the first of my comprehensive male patterns. Look for more this year. Contained within are instructions to complete, his socks, boots, pants, shirt, tie, vest, coat hat and whip.
This stylish man is de riguer in 1906. Companion male to lady in pattern 4020. Made in silk and wool, this costume would be most effective in cotton, and in black silk as a modern or contemporary groom. I would like to say this is challenging. There is a lot of detail built into the suit. I have completed the sample in difficult fabrics, but softer cottons would be an excellent substitution. (Especially for a beginner) The booklet includes patterns, directions and diagrams, for pants, shirt, vest, morning coat and hat. There are directions for a cane, though one is not pictured.
