Young girl in timeless dress
Create this young miss in a timeless waist dress with tucks. The pattern features a pinned apron with an interesting way to make her pins, and a bonnet. The unders are included. This little girl is copied from a painting.
This contains diagrams and directions to complete both figures. These are a new twist for me as they are created from felt. The booklet includes instructions to make undergarments, skirt, pants, shirt and blouse, vests, suspenders, socks, shoes and hat. It is quite a complete project. The dolls have gone to the National Miniature Museum project "The Great Books".
The high waisted dress has been accepted attire since 1800 through today. Includes pattern for underclothes and bonnet also. Fits Doreen Sinnet's Pearl or other 3-1/2" tall toddler with minor adjustments.
For the Dressmakers Kit you will receive a smaller checked cotton the one pictured to the right. You will receive a micro-check cotton. This fabric can be found in the cotton section. Currently available in Pink and Baby Blue.

Little Girls Dress
An adorable outfit on a little girl reading to her dolly. Instructions for both the little girl's outfit and the baby doll's are included. The book instructions are not included.
The three dresses shown on the front of this pattern are part of the dresses that are stored in a trunk that contains 6 dresses with their hats, a little wool and fur bordered coat and hat, and a little girl dressed in her nightgown with slippers. I have always loved boxes, and when a box contains a surprise, that’s even better. These little dresses would be fabulous in a shadow box display and I have also made them so they will fit a little 4 inch doll with the larger scale body.
You can, of course, modify these dresses to fit a thinner doll, but make a muslin first. I hope you enjoy making these dresses. The sky’s the limit for this wardrobe, so be sure to check your scrap box and let you imagination soar.
